James Carbine is a native of Florence Alabama and a graduate of Auburn University where he obtained a degree in business. James is also a Certified Public Accountant. James and his brother Denzel have been in Nashville, Tennessee since 1985 where they have been engaged primarily in residential land development and construction and have been involved in the development of over 3,400 homes in various communities in middle Tennessee.

James is a second-generation builder and has been very active in the Home Builders Association, serving as President of the HBA of Middle Tennessee in 1999 and as President of the Home Builders Association of Tennessee in 2005. James has been happily married for twenty two years to his wife, Dewanda, and has two teenage daughters, Elizabeth and Kristen.
