In the telecommunications area, Mr. Jarrett represents companies and associations before the Federal Communications Commission and state agencies on policy, licensing and enforcement matters, including companies engaged in the deployment of wireless, fiber-based and emerging technology broadband services. He represents major corporations in negotiating telecommunications and networking services agreements and related technology acquisition and licensing agreements and in disputes arising from these agreements.
A recognized expert, Mr. Jarrett has co-chaired national conferences on these specialized agreements. He regularly writes and speaks on telecommunications policy and procurement matters.
In the environmental area, Mr. Jarrett focuses on the compliance obligations applicable to facilities that produce and process foods and food ingredients, ranging from wastewater discharge permits, EPCRA and state chemical reporting statutes, air permitting obligations, including Title V, state solid waste regulation, chemical and petroleum release prevention, response and notification obligations, and hazardous waste regulation. Mr. Jarrett represents clients in enforcement actions, advises on audit procedures, record-keeping, self-disclosure options and managing environmental inspections, and represents clients in Superfund cost recovery actions.
