Sayeed Rashid (sayeed.s.rashid@alcatel-lucent.com) has worked on broadband network product development and marketing since 1989. He helped launch the first generations of broadband switches while he was with NEC. Later, he planned and managed the development of transport products optimized for data traffic.

While at ADC, he worked on converged access for voice, data, and video services, and dynamic service selection. He is currently working as Marketing Senior Manager in product marketing of the Alcatel Fiber to the User (FTTU) product line.

He received his B.S. Degree from University of Texas at Arlington and an M.S. Degree from Southern Methodist University.
